Conservation district selling seedlings

ALLEN COUNTY
Last year, the Allen Soil and Water Conservation District tree sale provided more than 13,000 trees to property owners in Allen County. This year's seedling sale has just begun. The sale features 25 species of trees and shrubs for planting on public and private land. Tree packets start as low as $17 for a Songbird Packet or $12 for a pack of 10 shrub seedlings such as lilacs or redbuds.
Interested buyers can get a paper copy of the order form mailed to them by calling 419-223-0040 extension 101. Forms can also be picked up the order forms at the office, 3900 Campus Drive, Suite A, Lima.
The deadline to order seedlings is March 5. Seedlings are shipped in mid- to late April and can be picked up at the Allen County Fairgrounds.
