BATH TOWNSHIP — In a public announcement, Bath Township trustees announced their intention to make Bath a better place for businesses and has invited local organizations to speak with them about finding the best way to do so.

“It is our intention to improve the atmosphere for those who are trying to do good things in our community and to encourage everyone to reach out, guide, help and assist them,” a press release penned by the trustees read.

Trustees mentioned a number of ongoing projects in Bath — business investment, education, real estate, sidewalk construction — that are making Bath a better community to live, but even as progress is being made, the area still has opportunities for improvement.

“This is the initial step to put out there our intent to work with new businesses,” Bath Trustee Brad Baxter said. “We hope to have new conversations.”
