Man shot at Lima laundromat identified

LIMA — The Allen County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the man shot late Tuesday evening at a Lima laundromat.

Nathan Jelks, 26, of Reynoldsburg, was shot during an incident at Colonial Coin Laundry, 1635 N. Cole St.

Deputies responded to the laundry at 8:59 p.m. Tuesday and found Jelks suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Mercy Health-St. Rita’s for treatment of unspecified injuries.

The shooter remains at large and the incident remains under investigation, officials said.
