LIMA — A two-alarm fire caused a complete loss to a home on Greenlawn Avenue. There were no injuries.
The residents of the home arrived home around 2:54 p.m. and discovered the fire, according to the Lima Fire Department. The fire started on the first floor and got into the second floor. Firefighters remained on the scene until 5:30 p.m.
The home was a complete loss, with the property and contents valued at $21,000. The two-story, two-bedroom home, built in 1920 and remodeled in 2003, was owned by Willie J. McNeal, according to the Allen County Auditor’s website.
The cause of the fire was not yet determined Thursday evening.
