Alcohol suspected in single-vehicle accident in Glandorf

GLANDORF — Police believe alcohol may have been a contributing factor in a single-vehicle traffic accident Thursday afternoon in the village of Glandorf.

According to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle driven by Darrell Combs, 58, of Ottawa, was involved in a crash at approximately 1:40 p.m. on Anthony Avenue near East Blake Street in the village. Police received reports that Combs was leaving the scene of the crash on foot.
