Mercy Health-St. Rita’s participating in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day


National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Mercy Health-St. Rita’s, 718 W. Market St., Lima.

LIMA — Mercy Health-St. Rita’s is participating in the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28 at its location, 718 W. Market St., Lima. The facility asks that people enter on Baxter Street and exit on Market Street.

Other drop-off locations during the 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. time include:

• Allen County Children Services Building, 123 W. Spring St., Lima.

• Lima Memorial Medical Park, 525 Eastown Road, Lima.

• Chief Supermarket Northland Plaza, 120 W. Northern Ave., Lima.

• Chief Supermarket, 890 S. Cable Road, Lima.

This free event for the public includes both prescription drugs and over-the-counter medications. Medications should be kept in original container or prescription bottle with patient’s name blacked out.

No syringes or illegal drugs will be accepted.
