Putnam County Common Pleas Court

Aug. 21

Matthew D. Thomas, 25, 11716 Road 16, Ottawa, was sentenced to 36 months in prison for complicity and 12 months in prison for theft from a protected class and 12 months for receiving stolen property. The first count was ordered to be served consecutive to the other counts resulting in a total sentence of 48 months. He was placed on three years community control, must comply with drug and alcohol treatment and monitoring and pay restitution of $3,820 to the victim.

Nathaniel Estill, 32, 959 Brice Ave., Lima, pleaded guilty to felony nonsupport. He faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. He also pleaded guilty to failure to appear. He faces up to 18 months in prison and $5,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 9 a.m. Nov. 8.

Madison N. Fenbert, 20, 1027 Washington Ave., Defiance, pleaded guilty to attempted burglary. She faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 2 p.m. Sept. 20.

Aug. 22

Alexander D. Cress, 20, 105 W. Pendleton St., Columbus Grove, was sentenced to 12 months in prison for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and 48 months for illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material or performance. The sentence was ordered to run concurrent and he was given credit for time served and any additional time served pending transfer. Three counts unlawful sexual conduct with a minor were dismissed.

Aug. 23

Kyley A. Gardner, 29, 6873 U.S. Route 224, Van Wert, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs (methamphetamines), and endangering children. He faces up to 30 months in prison and $7,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 9 a.m. Oct. 4. Two counts endangering children and possessing drug abuse instruments were dismissed.

Decoda A. Blake, 29, 203 N. First St., Continental, was remanded to the Fresh Start program for failing to comply with supervision. The violations included using methamphetamines and Adderall July 21. She was placed on five years’ community control, must submit to random urinalyses, obtain and maintain employment, and complete counseling and treatment.

Nina J. Brown, 19, 153 Oak St., Apt. B, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs, (LSD). She was granted treatment in lieu of conviction. She was placed on two years’ community control, must undergo drug and alcohol use treatment and monitoring, and obtain and maintain employment.

Scott J. Wilson, 56, 583 S. Perry St., Ottawa, was given a reduction in sentence and released Aug. 23. He had been convicted of failure to register arson and having weapons under disability.

Aug. 24

Jennifer M. English, Oakwood, was granted a divorce from Ramir J. English, Findlay. They were married March 27, 2015, and have one child.

Aug. 18

Anthony Brock, 59, 46 N. Ridge, Pine Ridge, S.D., pleaded guilty to drug paraphernalia. Sentence: $150 fine and six-month license suspension.

Aug. 21

Zachary L. Hoyt, 21, 1860 Road 6, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: Four points, 30 days jail, 27 days suspended, $250 fine, one-year license suspension. He was also fined $150 for turn signals. A charge of OVI was dismissed.

Jacob Diemer, 18, 2888 E. 12th St., Ottawa, pleaded guilty to theft. Sentence: 180 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, and pay $36.48 to Ottawa Walmart, and perform 32 hours community service.

Madal R. Guzman, 24, 8283 Road 7D, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to persistent disorderly. Sentence: 30 days jail, 29 days suspended, $150 fine and no contact with victim or Ottawa Walmart for one year.

Michael L. Niemeyer, 25, 19680 Road 18R, Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: 180 days jail, 174 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one-year license suspension, with credit for six days jail upon completion of DIP, and complete an alcohol and drug assessment.

Dustin M Lauck, 31, 1137 N. Elizabeth St., Lima, pleaded guilty to drug paraphernalia. Sentence: $150 fine. A charge of possession of marijuana was dismissed.

Aug. 22

Marissa J. Jennings, 22, 2881 Old State Route 224, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of attempted domestic violence. Sentence: 90 days jail, 60 days suspended, $100 fine and complete mental health assessment.

Olivia E. Johnson, 20, 20650 State Route 694, Cloverdale, pleaded no contest to drug paraphernalia and was found guilty. Sentence: $150 fine and six-month license suspension. She was also fined $50 for seat belt.

Aug. 24

Adam L. Morman, 35, 11281 Ottawa Drive, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension. Sentence: 180 days jail, 90 days suspended, $100 fine. A charge of marked lanes was dismissed.

Kimberly E. Strange, 48, 133 E. Main St., #4, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: Four points, 30 days jail, 27 days suspended, $250 fine, one-year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP. She was also fined $50 for tail/license plate light required.

Joshua P. Cutlip, 33, 9844 State Route 65, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: Four points, 30 days jail, 24 days suspended, $250 fine, one-year license suspension, with credit for six days jail upon completion of DIP and complete alcohol assessment. He was also fined $150 for tail/license plate light required.

Crystal L. Wills, 37, 1400 Clay St., Lot 2, Delphos, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension. Sentence: $250 fine.
