LIMA — A Lima City Council member is hoping to encourage people to come forward with information on recent shootings in Lima.
In a press conference Thursday, 6th Ward Councilman Derry Glenn announced he is contributing $1,000 into a reward fund for information leading to arrests and convictions for the July 1 shooting incident in the parking lot of the South Main Street Family Dollar, the July 5 shooting death of Davohn Godsey at the Gas Station Bar or the Wednesday shooting on West Wayne Street that left a bullet hole in a parked car.
“We can’t let this continue to go on,” he said. “We’ve got to come together to let police know where the guns are coming from.”
Anyone wishing to contribute additional funds to the reward can contact Glenn at 419-905-9572.
