St. Charles Catholic School hires new principal


LIMA — St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School has hired Megan Scheid as its new principal. She will begin her principal ministry immediately, according to a statement.

Scheid has been associated with St. Charles for 16 years as a mathematics teacher. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Bowling Green State University in 2001, and she began her teaching career at St. Charles after graduating. She obtained a Master of Education degree in curriculum and instruction from BGSU in 2011.

In past years at St. Charles, Scheid has been responsible for the complete scheduling of middle school students. She has participated on the Steering Committee for the school accreditation process, the Admissions Committee, and the Local Professional Development Committee, among others.

Scheid and her husband, Brian, are longtime parishioners at St. Charles. They have two sons, Collin and Noah.
