LEIPSIC ó Rachelle Marie Schroeder and Christopher Paul Ruhe were married at 1 p.m., Aug. 18, 2012, at St. Maryís Catholic Church, in Leipsic by Father George Wenzinger.
Parents of the bride are Nick and Connie Schroeder, of Leipsic.
Parents of the groom are Greg and Carol Ruhe, of Ottawa.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Nick Schroeder.
She wore an ivory taffeta mermaid style gown with a sweetheart neckline and one shoulder strap. The bodice had delicate beaded appliques and asymmetrically gathered taffeta. The skirt was made of taffeta with pickup detail to add volume and featured a chapel length train. Her veil was a birdcage veil, handmade from her motherís wedding veil and accented with a feather headpiece embellished with rhinestones. She carried a bouquet of coral colored lilies, yellow alstromeria and white stock flowers adorned with her grandmother and great-grandmotherís wedding rings.
Matron of honor was a friend of the coupleís, Jennifer Moening. Bridesmaids included the groomís sister, Katie Ruhe, the groomís sister-in-law, Faye Ruhe, the fiance of the brideís brother, Lisa Karhoff, the brideís cousins, Jenni Schroeder and Kayla Schroeder, and a friend of the couple, Jessica Evers.
Best man was the groomís brother, Nick Ruhe.Groomsmen were the brideís brothers, Derek Schroeder, Jobe Schroeder and Trent Schroeder, the groomís cousins, Kent Ruhe and Joseph Smith and a friend of the couple, Aaron Gerdeman. Ushers were the Chad Moening and Derek Maas, both friends of the couple.
The reception was held at the Leipsic Fogle Center.
The couple reside in rural Columbus Grove.
