1. In loving memory of Sgt. J. Donald Stoner. He was an Army medic in the 13th Armored Division. He lived June 4, 1920, to Nov. 23, 1995. He served in the Battle of the Bulge in Bastogne, Belgium. He is missed by Connie and Steve.

2. Iíve enclosed a letter dated April 18, 1995, from my late son, Shawn R. Stoner. He was an ET-3 in the Navy. While in the Navy, he was stationed in Bahrain for six years, home of the 5th Fleet and Bushís Harkin Oil Refinery, just out the back window of his barracks. While all the bases had operating cuts or closures, his was given more money.

He was also in action in Somalia and the Gulf.

Shawn died on his motorcycle on Nov. 10, 1999, when he was a struck on the Washington, D.C. beltway.

He is missed every day by family and friends.

Hello, hope that all is going well for you. I havenít been up to a whole lot lately. The weather is starting to get hot again so Iím not looking forward to that. Iím not taking any classes now, but I plan to start again in a few weeksÖ. Iím still waiting on the advacement results for E-S, but Iím not going to hold my breath. I had perfect 4.0 evals for performance and Iím sure Iíll pass the test aain for the seventh time, but thanks to good olí Bill and his friends in Congress, there is no money for advancements. Boy, I just hope that I can get lucky and find a decent job so I can buy a house and support my family. Ö I canít believe that Iíll be 24 in less than a month, boy time sure does fly. At least I only have a little over a year left in the Navy, then my prison sentence is finally over. Ö Iím going to try to come home this summer, but Iím still not sure if Iíll be able to save that much cash by the end of the summer. Ö I went to the travel office yesterday and KLM was the cheapest airline at $1,470, that sure is a big rip off. Ö Tell everyone I said hello and God Bless. Oh, just one small favor, could you send me a air filter for my 1982 Nissan Stanza 1.8. Thanks, Shawn
