Happy Easter! There is one coupon insert today from P&G. You’ll also find great deals this week. You can see a preview of what to expect down below.

How to coupon:

This week’s coupon lesson is how to save money on gas. That’s right, you can use coupons and rewards at gas stations. The main focus this week is Speedway.

Speedway offers a free rewards card called Speedy Rewards. If you don’t already have this card, you can head over to your local Speedway and sign up for free. You earn points for purchasing gas and other products in-store. These points can be redeemed for free items, discounts on gas, and cash.

To earn points, simply use your Speedy Rewards anytime you get gas. If you’re prepaying inside, let the cashier know that you have the rewards card. If you’re paying outside using your credit card, just swipe your rewards card and then your credit card.

If you purchase a Speedway gift card, you will get points for your purchase and points each time you use the gift card with your rewards card. So, purchase a $50 Speedway gift card (I believe it’s the gold card, but confirm this with your cashier so you get the correct kind) and have the cashier scan your rewards card first. At the gas pump, swipe your rewards card and then the gift card. This will earn points both ways.

You’ll receive 20 points per $1 spent on items in the store. Some exclusions apply. You’ll receive 10 points for every gallon of gas. Some items will earn you bonus points. Just look for the bonus signs in the store. You can earn points on the purchase of Xbox, Nintendo or Playstation cards. When you make a purchase on a participating item, you automatically become part of the club. When you purchase six qualifying drinks, you’ll get the seventh free. When you purchase six carwashes, you’ll get the seventh one free. The same goes for other items such as; energy shots, milk, candy and much more.

To redeem points, scan your Speedy Rewards card at the terminal in the Speedway store. This will tell you how many points you have and what you can redeem them for. You can see a list of items and how many points you need at www.StephanieSavings.net. You can also use the Speedy Rewards Mall online where you can shop at different stores, plus earn points through your Speedy Rewards card. Head over to Mall.Speedway.com to view these deals. This card is completely free. If you get your gas from Speedway this is a perfect way to earn free stuff and get a discount on gas.

Top deals this week:

If you need hair products, then head to Walgreens this week. You can get Pantene products for free. Here’s your deal: Purchase Pantene products (shampoo or conditioner and a styler) on sale for $3 each equalling $6. Use the free styler when you purchase shampoo or conditioner coupon found in the Pantene insert from February and the $3-off-two coupon found in today’s P&G insert. Your final cost is both items for free. Select two liters are on sale for $1 and come with a $1 Register Reward making them free as well.

Scan your Extra Care card at the CVS coupon center today and get a coupon valid for a free full-size bottle of Clear Scalp Therapy Shampoo. A $4.99 value! If you’re not familiar with this program at CVS, you can go to www.StephanieSavings.net and click the CVS tab. You’ll be able to sign up and read how these rewards work. Spend $20 on Pampers and you’ll get a $5 reward back, plus there are some coupons out for these right now.

Rite Aid has very nice deals going on for P&G products this week. Purchase $30 in select P&G products and you’ll get a $10 +Up reward! These products include; beauty, household, paper products, baby, medicine and more. Plus, there are coupons in today’s paper for these items.

Tip: Since today is Easter, that means Monday all of the stores will be marking many of their Easter items on clearance. This is a nice way to score great deals for next year. The best deals are when the items hit 90 percent off! I watch for items like egg fillers, Easter egg coloring kits, and home décor.
