WAPAKONETA — Carolyn Mae Blackburn, of Wapakoneta, will celebrate her 90th birthday April 27, 2012.She was born April 27, 1922 in Ada, to Melvin and Freda Stinebaugh. On June 21, 1942, she married Guy Blackburn, and he died Jan. 2, 2005.Blackburn is a graduate of Blume High School.She worked for 38 years at Westinghouse, in Lima.She had a sister Treva Howell and a niece Sonia Howell, who both preceded her in death.Blackburn belonged to St. Paul United Church of Christ her entire life.She and her husband enjoyed traveling and playing cards and she still enjoys short trips and being with neighbors and friends.
