90th Birthday — Mary Elizabeth Bowersock

WAPAKONETA — Mary Elizabeth  Bowersock, of Wapakoneta, is celebrating her 90th birthday today, May 6, 2012.She was born May 6, 1922, in Allen County, to Nena and Donnie Wilson. On Nov. 23, 1941 she married L. Marvin Bowersock, and he died Feb. 6, 1994.She has five children, Marilyn (Bill) Ringwald, Mary Kay (Philip) McKinley, Sondra (Norman) Heidlebaugh, Susan (Bruce) Rinehart and John (Shelley) Bowersock. She has 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She is a member of Bethlehem Christian Union Church.Bowersock retired from Springborn Labs, now known as Charles River Labs in Spencerville.She enjoys sending cards on all occasions to friends and family with special notes in them, and is known as “the card lady.”She is a homemaker and loves spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
