FINDLAY — Jean Scheidegger will celebrate her 100th birthday Aug. 22, 2011. Her family is hosting a birthday party for her from 2 to 4 p.m., Aug. 21, at her residence, the Judson Palmer Home, 2911 North Main Street, Findlay. Those who would like to visit her to extend their congratulations and best wishes are cordially invited to attend.Scheidegger was born Aug. 22, 1911 to Marvin and Minnie Leslie. On Nov. 7, 1937 she married Gordon C. Scheidegger, who died August 1978. She has two daughters, Nancy (Raymond) Sroufe, of Elida and Joyce (Ed) Kohli, of Crossville, Tenn. She has four grandchildren, Jennifer (Jerry) Morris, of Elida, Leanda (H.Dan) Seibert, of Charlotte, N.C., Tabetha (Jim) Pfaff, of Columbus and Tom (Kelly) Kohli, of Pandora. She has 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.Scheidegger is very proud of her family. She is an extremely deoved fan of both the Cleveland Browns and especially the Cleveland Indians.
