Marjorie Debacher will celebrate her 90th birthday on Jan. 30, 2013. A family dinner will be held.
She was born Jan. 30, 1923, in Pittsburgh, PA., to Jacob and Cecilia Debacher.
Debacher graduated from Lima St. Rose High School, Grace martin Secretarial School, in Pittsburgh, and The Ohio State University. She served in the U.S. Navy from July 1943 to August 1946.
She retired from the City Loan and Savings Company.
Debacher is a member of St. Gerard Church and the Eagles Auxiliary.
Following retirement, she volunteered and served on the boards of the Ohio Women’s Bowling Association and the American Red Cross, and was active in golf and bowling leagues.
She enjoys spending time with family and friends.
