OTTAWA — Mr. and Mrs. Edward Schnipke Jr., of Ottawa, will celebrate 50 years of marriage June 29, 2013. A Mass is scheduled at 4:30 pm. at St. John The Baptist Church, in Glandorf, followed by an open house at 7 p.m., at the Schnipke Inn.
Schnipke and the former Mary Agnes Schroeder were married June 29, 1963, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Leipsic by the Rev. Mark A. Vogel.
They are the parents of two sons, Earl Schnipke, of Ottawa and Duane (Christina) Schnipke, of Bishopville, SC; and two daughters, Diana (James) Hoffman, of Delphos and Elaine (Jeffrey) Rosengarten, of Fremont. They have 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Schnipke is retired from farming. His wife is retired from Putnam Acres Care Center.
