ELIDA — Mr. and Mrs. Warren Stemen, of Elida, will celebrate 60 years of marriage on Nov. 16, 2012. They took a fall trip to Maggie Valley, N.C.
Stemen and the former Margaret E. Brunk were married Nov. 16, 1952, at Pike Mennonite Church, by the Rev. Paul Smith.
They are the parents of three sons, Jerry (Melissa) Stemen, of Elida, Robert (Chrys) Stemen, of Indian Trail, N.C. and Gene (Julie) Stemen, of Lima; and two daughters, Debra (Mike) Crites and Carol Stemen, both of Lima. They have 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Stemen is retired from Stemens Carpet. He was also a dealer in antique and classic cars. His wife is a homemaker.
