LIMA — Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Hyman, of Lima, will celebrate 50 years of marriage May 4, 2013. The couple invite their family, friends and acquaintances for an afternoon of kite flying from 2 p.m. until dusk, May 4th, at the family home. Kites and/or umbrellas provided. The couple request that gifts be omitted.
Hyman and the former Paula Hover were married May 4, 1963, at St. Rose Catholic Church, by the Rev. Emery J. Ignacz.
They are the parents of one son, Gregory Hyman, of Germantown; and one daughter, Sarah (Tim) Bernhardt, of Dortmund, Germany. They have five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Hyman retired from teaching and counseling. His wife is employed by IHS Services, Inc./Innovative Opportunities, Inc.
