LIMA — Mr. and Mrs. Howard G. Lackey, of Lima, will celebrate 65 years of marriage Dec. 6, 2012. An open house is scheduled from 2 to 4 p.m., Dec. 9, 2012, at Forest Park United Methodist Church, 315 S. Collins, Lima. The couple request that gifts be omitted.
Lackey and the former Sandra Bowersock were married Dec. 6, 1947, at Westerly United Methodist Church, in Lima.
They are the parents of one son, Gary H. (Sharon) Lackey, of Erie, Penn.; and three daughters, Debra K. (Craig) Workman and Denise (Donald) Bush and Chrisa (Kevin) McGhee, all of Lima. They have nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Lackey is retired from Ford Motor Company. His wife is retired from Bath Schools.
