Rosalyn and Stanley Prater

LIMA Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Prater, of Lima, will celebrate 60 years of marriage July 3, 2013. An open house is planned from 1 to 5 p.m., June 15, 2013, at Wesleyan Church, 414 E. Market St. The couple request that gifts be omitted.

Prater and the former Rosalyn Luke were married July 3, 1953, at Free Methodist Church, in Lima, by the Rev. Margaret Sager.

They are the parents of three sons, John Prater, of Spencerville, James (Carolyn) Prater, of San Bernardino, Calif. and Thomas (Shirley) Prater, of Lima; and three daughters, Debra (Bruce) Remlinger, of Kalida, Joanne Prater and Diane Prater, both of Lima. They have 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Prater retired after 46 years of service from Ford Motor Company. His wife retired from Lima Manor Nursing Home.
