LIMA — Mr. and Mrs. John Adams, of Lima, will celebrate 50 years of marriage Nov. 17, 2012. A dinner is planned at 5 p.m., Nov. 17th, at the UAW Hall. The couple request that gifts be omitted.
Adams and the former Charlene Lee-Johnson were married Nov. 17, 1962, at St. James CME Church, in Lima by the Rev. R.W. Thomas.
They are the parents of two sons, two daughters, two foster sons and one foster daughter. They have 11 grandchildren and a host of foster grandchildren. They have eight great-grandchildren and a host of foster great-grandchildren.
Adams is retired from Mike Pruitt. His wife is retired from INEOS.
