LIMA — Mr. and Mrs. Russell Pisle, of Lima celebrated 60 years of marriage March 16, 2012. An open house is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m., Aug. 18, at St. Lukes Lutheran Church, in the New Life Center, in Lima. The couple request that gifts be omitted.
Pisle and the former Margaret Love were married March 16, 1952, at Carlisle Methodist Church, in Carlisle, Iowa, by the Rev. Ray E. Mills.
They are the parents of one son, John (Heather) Pisle, of Lima; and two daughters, Mary (Terry) Stepleton, of Lima and Cathy (Bowman) Brown, of Charlotte, NC. They have six grandchildren.
Pisle is retired, and was the former owner of an agribusiness. His wife is retired, and was a consulting dietitian.
