LIMA — Mr. and Mrs. Jon Johnston, of Lima, will celebrate 25 years of marriage April 17, 2012. They are renewing their vows following the Saturday evening service, April 14, at Lima Community Church of the Nazarene, and leaving the following day for a Southern Caribbean cruise.Johnston and the former Linda Carter-Shaner were married April 17, 1987, at Christie United Methodist Church, outside of Spencerville, by Pastor Cheryl Foulk and Father Emmett Holmes, the groom’s uncle.Johnston is employed by Nickles Bakery. His wife is employed by St. Rita’s Medical Center.
