FORT JENNINGS Mr. and Mrs. Gene Krietemeyer, of Fort Jennings, will celebrate 50 years of marriage June 15, 2013. The couple spent a week at Lake Norris, Tenn. with their family, and plan to take a trip to Ireland and Scotland later in the summer. A Mass of Thanksgiving will be held on June 15, 2013, in the same church, with the same priest presiding as in 1963. A dinner will follow at S&Ks Landeck Tavern.

Krietemeyer and the former Agnes Bonifas were married June 15, 1963, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, in Landeck, by the Rev. Roger Bonifas, brother of the bride.

They are the parents of three sons, Mark (Rose) Krietemeyer, of Columbus, Jeff (Sharon) Krietemeyer, of Cincinnati and Scott (Sarah) Krietemeyer, of Sunbury. They have 10 grandchildren.

Krietemeyer is retired from Ford Motor Company and farming. His wife is retired from the former Boose Insurance Agency.
