WAPAKONETA — Mr. and Mrs. George Steinke, of Wapakoneta, will celebrate 50 years of marriage Nov. 24, 2012. A Mass of Thanksgiving will be held at 5 p.m., Nov. 24th, at St. Joseph Church, in Wapakoneta. A family dinner will follow at the K of C Hall on 25-A, in Wapakoneta. There will be an open house at 7:30 p.m., Nov. 24th, at the K of C Hall on 25-A. The couple request that gifts be omitted.

Steinke and the former Judy Kohlrieser were married Nov. 24, 1962, at St. John Catholic Church, in Fryberg by the Rev. Lawrence Tebbe.

They are the parents of one son, Michael (Tracy) Steinke, of Wapakoneta; and one daughter, Michelle (Fred) Fowler, of Florence, Kentucky. They have two grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren.

Steinke is retired from Iron Workers and is engaged in farming. His wife is a retired registered nurse from St. Rita’s Medical Center.
