LIMA — Mr. and Mrs. Michael McKowen, of Lima, are celebrating 40 years of marriage today, April 8, 2012. They are celebrating with a second honeymoon to French Lick Resorts.McKowen and the former Barbara Berelsman were married April 8, 1972, at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church, in Delphos, by the Rev. Richard Cody.They are the parents of one daughter, Christina (Kevin) Malpass, of Akron. They have three grandchildren.McKowen is retired after 29 years with Bank One and is currently the business manager for Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes. His wife has been a registered nurse with St. Rita’s Medical Center for more than 40 years.
