LIMA — Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Meier, of Lima will celebrate 70 years of marriage April 25, 2012. Meier and the former Jeanne Marie Mack were married April 25, 1942 at St. Gerard Catholic Church, in Lima, by the Rev. Joseph P. Leddy, CSSR.They are the parents of two daughters, Karen (Clarence) Neeper and Robin (Peter) White, both of Lima. One son, Michael Meier and one daughter, Cathie Ahmed, are deceased. They have nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.Meier retired in 1987 from the cutter grind department at Ford Motor Company. His wife is a homemaker.
