BLUFFTON — Mr. and Mrs. E. Keith Brauen, of Bluffton, celebrated 65 years of marriage Nov. 6, 2012. A family celebration is planned for Nov. 24th, at the Ebenezer mennonite Church.
Brauen and the former Esther Lugibihl were married Nov. 6, 1947, in Pandora, by the Rev. Ernest Bohn.
They are the parents of Connie (Lee) Crouse, of Ada, Julie (John) Mackey, of Bluffton, Shirley Brauen, of Columbus, Merry (Gene) Augsburger, of Pandora, Bill (Joan) Brauen, of Foley, Minn., Dave (Kathy) Brauen, of Harrod, Chris (John) Hochstetler, of Bluffton, Don (Jodi) Brauen, of Bluffton, Betty (Gary) Augsburger, of Pandora and Janet Brauen, of Troy. They have 22 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, with three more on the way.
Brauen, is a retired electrician and is still engaged in farming. His wife is retired from Celebration of Health Association, of Bluffton.
