Highlights: If you’re in Lima, there’s never a Kewpee too far away. The longtime Lima favorite has three locations — Kewpee West, Kewpee Downtown and Kewpee East — and is this year’s best fast food restaurant. And for good reason. Kewpee Hamburgers prides itself in making quality hamburgers, to-order, efficiently. The drive-thru lines make seem daunting at times, but Kewpee always delivers with its dedication to speedy service.
2. Chipotle, Lima
Location: 3292 Elida Road, Lima
Hours: 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily
Highlights: If you’re in the mood for a burrito the size of your face, then Chipotle is your go-to place. That’s because Chipotle never disappoints when it comes to offering generous portions. (Or, if you prefer your meat, beans and rice a bowl or in salad form, this local favorite has you covered there.) Add in some chips and salsa or guacamole, and make it a fiesta! Long lines are no biggie here, either, because the staff always keeps people moving on through for a quick, but delicious lunch with a flavorful punch.
