Highlights: The very first Fat Jack’s Pizza opened its doors back in 1975 on Findlay Road. In 1982, the West Street restaurant opened, and then the Spencerville location popped up to make three altogether. These restaurants serve up some amazing pizza — from a 6-inch option to an extra big 21-inch pizza pie. Highlights: This family-business is owned by Brent and Curt Shafer. The Pizzeria opened in 1972 and has been serving up the finest pizza in Putnam County ever since. Its pizza sauce recipe has remained unchanged since the beginning, which is probably one reason customers keep coming again and again. Something else that sets The Pizzeria apart from competition is the fact that the pizzas are baked in traditional deck ovens instead of the quicker conveyor ovens. Be sure to try their wings, along with their famous cheese-stuffed breadsticks.
