This would be the final year of the Camaro’s original design. The ‘69 Camaro paced the Indianapolis 500 for the second time. Even though the 1969 Camaro carried over the previous year’s drivetrain and mechanical components, all-new sheetmetal gave the car a sportier look. The grille was now a heavy “V” and the car had deeply inset headlights, which gave the car a more aggressive look. The RS package included hidden headlights, revised taillights with back-up lights, and an RS badge. The RS stickered for $3,889.20. The 1969 Chevy Camaro is still considered one of the hottest-looking rides of the classic muscle car period. This car won Chevy’s poll asking for the public to vote for the best Chevy of all time.
