Book title: “Ramona Quimby, Age 8”

Author’s name: Beverly Cleary

What happens: Ramona is an eight-year-old girl with a big imagination that gets her into trouble a lot, even when she doesn’t mean to. For example, Ramona’s mother gave her an egg she thought was hard boiled. So when she whacks it against her head to crack it, she gets egg in her hair at school! An example for Ramona’s big imagination is when she had just got new pajamas last night. She thought it would be nice to wear them to school like a firefighter, so she wore them under her clothes to school. But at school, she gets too hot, throws up and has to go home.

Why I liked this book: I liked this book because I will be 8 next week and because it has parts of the movie called Ramona and Beezus, and because Ramona does funny things.
