Looking for something to do this weekend? There are a variety of festivals going on, with events ranging from historical offerings to cornhole tournaments to wooden boat viewings. And no good festival is complete without an abundance of food offerings, plenty of which can be found locally.

So find your fun at one or more of the many festivals going on this weekend in the area.

Ottoville

The Immaculate Conception Church Festival will open with a family-style dinner at 11 a.m. Sunday and run through 9 p.m. on the church grounds. The always-popular beef and chicken dinners will be served again from 4 to 7 p.m., with carry-outs available. There will also be a lunch stand, a baked goods booth, and new this year — homemade ice cream. The afternoon is filled with games and entertainment, a kiddie tractor pull, cornhole and drawings. Music will be by The Brass Notes and the alternative rock group, Real Life Somebodies. The big ticket drawing at 9 p.m. is for $1,000 first place, and various other cash prizes.

Ohio City

The 45th annual Ohio City Lambert Days kicks off today in Ohio City. Events include a steak dinner, kids’ games, horseshoes and Monte Carlo Night, as well as an outdoor movie. On Saturday, a slow-pitch softball game and volleyball tournaments will be held, along with an evening dance. The event ends Sunday with a slow-pitch tournament, chicken barbecue and a 3 p.m. parade.

Russells Point

The Woden Keels Vintage Wheels Show goes on from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Russells Point Harbor. This event allows spectators to check out the wooden boats and vintage cars on display.

The St. Marys of the Woods Church Festival runs from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday in the church parking lot. The event kicks off with a breakfast, and then opens with children’s games, pony rides, a petting zoo and train rides. There is cornhole, a volleyball tug-of-war, cake wheel, adopt-a-pet, water and boat safety program, and a silent auction. Food includes chicken and pork chop dinners starting at 5 p.m., and homemade ice cream. Drawing for cash is at 10 p.m.
