LIMA ‚?? She‚??s a staple on Nickelodeon, and fair planners think Victoria Justice will be the highlight of this year‚??s Allen County Fair for area tweens.
‚??After the success we had last year with Big Time Rush, which was unexpected, we thought the demand was strong for someone to entertain that demographic. Nickelodeon is a popular brand, and Victoria is popular on Nickelodeon,‚?Ě said Jay Begg, Allen County Fair manager.
She will be joined on stage by Max Schneider, a costar in her Nickelodeon series, ‚??Victorious.‚?Ě The two often tour together, and perform original music from the show.
At 19 years old, Justice has been a staple of many Nickelodeon shows and commercials for nearly a decade. She got her start with a guest appearance on ‚??The Gilmore Girls.‚?Ě She then went to the Disney production of ‚??The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.‚?Ě
Those roles led to parts in ‚??Zoey 101,‚?Ě ‚??The Naked Brothers Band,‚?Ě ‚??iCarly‚?Ě and ‚??BrainSurge.‚?Ě
Her show ‚??Victorious,‚?Ě debuted in 2010, with the pilot taking honors as the highest rated premiere for a live-action Nickelodeon series. In that series, Victoria plays Tori Vega, a young girl who finds herself navigating life as a student at the elite performing arts high school, Hollywood Arts High.
The show won Favorite TV Show at the 2012 Kids‚?? Choice Awards in 2012.
Justice recorded the series‚?? first featured song, ‚??Make it Shine,‚?Ě which also served as the theme song for the show. She later recorded ‚??You‚??re the Reason,‚?Ě ‚??Finally Falling,‚?Ě ‚??Tell Me That You Love Me,‚?Ě and ‚??Freak the Freak Out.‚?Ě
A second album of songs from the show, Victorious 2.0, was released June 5 of this year.
Justice has been profiled on ‚??Night-line‚?Ě and been the cover girl for Seventeen Magazine.
She is currently working on a new solo album, and filming season 3 of the hit Nickelodon show.
‚??Tickets are still available for her concert, but the sales are going well,‚?Ě Begg said.
