Statewide tornado drill set for Wednesday morning

LIMA — This week, Sunday through Saturday, marks Ohio Severe Weather Awareness Week. Allen County will be participating in the Statewide Tornado Warning Drill Wednesday. The 50 Allen County community warning sirens will be tested at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday.

In the event of an actual emergency, the sirens are an indication that persons in the affected area should go indoors and tune to the local news media for additional information and instruction on emergency actions to be taken.
