Golden Gate Bridge jump survivor, Kevin Hines, to speak

ST. MARYS — The Mental Health and Recovery Services Board will be bringing Kevin Hines to St. Marys to speak at 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, at St. Marys High School Auditorium, 2250 state Route 66N, St. Marys.

Hines is the only Golden Gate Bridge jump survivor who is spreading the message of living mentally healthy. He is one of only 34 to survive the fall, and the only one to regain full physical mobility. He was diagnosed with bipolar disorder at the age of 19.
