Lima Schools to hold Relay for Life

LIMA — Unity Elementary School will hold its ninth annual mini Relay for Life between 8:45 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. May 26 at Spartan Stadium.

Students will rotate every 15 minutes through stations learning how to keep their bodies healthy and active. Stations include dance, Zumba, snow cones, therapy dogs, making a healthy snack, SESA, giant bubbles, water relay, sun sensitive bracelets, track and YMCA.

Students will walk the track as part of the Relay for Life and there will be at least one class walking throughout the day. Students have been raising money by selling T-shirts, Popsicle and Sun and Moons for the “in Honor Of & In Memory Of” project.
