Mary Mauck Fitzpatrick Youngpeter, 75, died at 7:05 a.m. Dec. 8, 2009, at VanCrest Health Care Center, Delphos.
She was born Jan. 20, 1934, in Lima to Edward Joseph and Dorothy Louise Ribley Mauck, who preceded her in death. On Oct. 9, 1982, she married Robert J. Fitzpatrick, who died Oct. 25, 1996. On July 23, 2005, she married Eugene T. Youngpeter, who survives in Lima.
Mrs. Youngpeter retired in 1986 as an operator from United Telephone Co. She was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church, where she was a member of the choir. She was a member of the German Choir and the Autumn Years Choraliers, both in Delphos.
Survivors also include three nieces, Tana (Paul) Nutter and Terri (Alan) Ley, both of Lima, and Ronda Watkins, of Wapakoneta; a nephew, Robert (Arlene) Mauck Jr., of Lima; several great-nieces and -nephews; six stepchildren, Bob (Betty) Youngpeter, Kevin (Mary) Youngpeter, Charlie (Rose) Youngpeter, Jeff Youngpeter and Christine (Craig) Bloom, all of Delphos, and Greg (Jane) Youngpeter, of Newberry, Mich.; a special friend of the family, Mary Ann Youngpeter, of Delphos; and 12 stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a niece, Nancy Kennedy; and a nephew, Ted Watkins.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Gerard Catholic Church. Father Joy Poonoly will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, where a parish wake service will be held at 7 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
