Letter: Wrestling helps Lima, surrounding area
WAR Wrestling was in town the night of Feb. 4 and once again delivered a great show. Once again, without much fanfare, Tom Williams and crew helped a deserving organization.
Tickets were given to Unleashed Youth Ministries to sell for the event and all the money raised was kept by Unleashed Youth Ministries. These funds are going to help build their teen center in the Waynesfield area.
You may ask what is the connection between a youth ministry and wrestling. The connection is that Tom Williams and the WAR family recognize the need for Lima and the surrounding communities and they want to help. WAR has done this for several events for Unleashed Youth Ministries and these funds are badly needed and greatly appreciated.
So thank you, Tom Williams and WAR Wrestling, for all you do for Lima and the surrounding area.
