105th Birthday — Agatha Unverferth

KALIDA — Agatha Unverferth will celebrate her 105th birthday Feb. 5, 2012. Cards can be sent to her c/o The Meadows of Kalida, P.O. Box 388, Kalida, OH.
She was born Feb. 5, 1907, in Glandorf to Frank and Catherine Maag. She married Alfred Unverferth and he died in 1968.
Unverferth is the mother of one son, Kenneth (Carolyn) Unverferth, of Kalida; and two daughters, Carol (Tom) Recker and Judith Blankemeyer, both of Kalida. She has 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
She grew up with kerosene lamps in the horse and buggy days and finds today's technology quite amazing.
Unverferth enjoys time with her family and also enjoys a good cup of coffee.
