Joann and James Trent

LIMA — Mr. and Mrs. James Trent, of Lima, celebrated 50 years of marriage Feb. 3, 2012.
Trent and the former Joann LaForce were married Feb. 3, 1962, at Panthor Creek Baptist Church, in Sneedville, Tenn., by the Rev. Elmer Trent.
They are the parents of two daughters and one son-in-law. They have three grandchildren.
Trent is employed by Oberfield's LLC. His wife is a homemaker.
