JoAnn E. Trame, 70, died at 4:11 a.m. Nov. 8, 2009, at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Ottawa.

She was born Aug. 27, 1939, in Rimer to Oscar and Bernadette Heitmeyer Unverferth, who preceded her in death. On June, 27, 1959, she married Jerry Trame, who survives in Ottawa.

Mrs. Trame retired as a secretary with Philips ECG, Ottawa. She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa, and the Ottawa Fire Ladies Auxiliary. She was a fan of Ottawa-Glandorf and was a member of the boosters. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and word searches. She loved spending time with her grandsons.

Survivors also include a daughter, Jodi (Wade) Stechschulte, of Ottawa; two grandchildren, Zach and Hunter Stechschulte; two siblings, Alvin (Ruth) Unverferth, of Ottawa, and Vera Jean (Dan) Stechschulte, of Glandorf; and a sister-in-law, Naomi (Virgil) Bellman, of Ottawa.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Heitmeyer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa. The Rev. Matt Jozefiak will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, where an Ottawa Fire Ladies service will begin at 7 p.m. today and a Scripture service will begin at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to SS. Peter & Paul School Boosters.
