Long-Term Recovery Committee thanks all for their help

The Spiritual & Emotional Health Committee of Putnam County Long-Term Recovery Task Force would like to thank those who attended and helped to make the Community Flood Anniversary Celebration on Sunday a success. We had more than 350 people in attendance to enjoy worship, fellowship and food, and our special offering for flood victims in Iowa raised more than $1,635.

George Zornow; Linda Pollitz; Jim Rump; New Creation Lutheran Church and Pastor Ken Pollitz; Trinity United Methodist Church and Pastor Lynda Lockwood; and Ottawa Presbyterian Church and Pastor Steve Elderbrock.

We've come a long way in one year, but much more recovery work remains to be done. With God's help, and helping each other, we can and will rise above the flood waters of August and February to become a better and stronger community.
