Wilma A. Sunderhaus

Ottawa - Wilma A. Sunderhaus, 84, died at 9:10 a.m. Nov. 12, 2009, at Bridge Hospice Care, Findlay.
She was born Feb. 4, 1925, in Ottoville to Joseph and Regina Anna Kemper Hoehn, who preceded her in death. On July 5, 1947, she married Frank J. Sunderhaus, who died July 20, 2004.
Mrs. Sunderhaus was a homemaker and a secretary. She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa, and its Altar Rosary Society, Catholic Ladies of Columbia and the Catholic Daughters of America. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9142 Auxiliary, where she had received the Make a Difference Award and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2234 Auxiliary, both in Ottawa.
Survivors include five sons, Michael (Connie) Sunderhaus and Stephen (Elaine) Sunderhaus, both of Ottawa, Gregory (Alberta Harden) Sunderhaus, of Jenera, Jeffrey (Sherry) Sunderhaus, of Belle Center, and Brian (Salena) Sunderhaus, of Vaughnsville; two daughters, Janice A. (Luther Woodfork) Sunderhaus, of Lima, and Ann (Jeff) Korte, of Kalida; a son-in-law, Harry Manos, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; 21 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ralph (Alice) Hoehn, of Delphos, Joseph (Erlene) Hoehn, of Cleveland, and Jerry (Shirley) Hoehn, of Ottoville; and a sister, Jennie Maag, of Columbus Grove.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Manos; five brothers, Eugene, Orville, Vic, Rich and Tom Hoehn; and three sisters, Mary Mack, Mildred Wieging and Norma Wolke.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa. Father Matt Jozefiak will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, where a CLC rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday and a VFW service at 7 p.m. and a FOE service at 7:30 p.m., both on Sunday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
