Bluffton
Carolyn Suzanne Spiller, 63, died at 6:50 p.m. Aug. 9, 2009, at St. Rita’s Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 14, 1945, in Bridgeport, Ill., to Virgil and Irene Newman Milligan, who preceded her in death. On Nov. 22, 1961, she married Donnie “Joe” Spiller, who survives in Bluffton.
Mrs. Spiller and her husband operated Supply Safety Solutions. He was a member of Bluffton Baptist Church. She passed into her Savior’s arms with her husband and daughter by her side.
Survivors also include a daughter, Julie (Richard) Steiner, of Bluffton; a son, Steven Spiller, of Greenwood, Ind.; five grandchildren, Stephanie Suzanne Steiner, Jonny Steiner, Mary Elizabeth Steiner, Matthew Spiller and Jennifer Spiller; and two brothers and a sister.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Josiah Steiner.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at Bluffton Baptist Church. The Revs. Steve Renfrow and Charles Warren will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes, Bluffton, and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bluffton Baptist Church.
