Comments 0Lakeview - Eloise Lavonne Siebeneck, 78, died at 11:15 a.m. Nov. 26, 2009, at Lima Memorial Health System.
She was born Feb. 5, 1931, in Logan County to Byron and Helen Margaret Knief McGowan, who preceded her in death. On Aug. 10, 1972, she married Leonard A. Siebeneck, who died April 21, 1980.
Mrs. Siebeneck worked for Bulldog Electric for eight years, was secretary at Landmark in Jackson Center for 10 years and was a Realtor for Rohrer Realty, Lima, for 15 years. She was a member of the Muchinippi Church, Lewistown. She was also a member of Indian Lake Moose Lodge 1533 Women’s Auxiliary and the Indian Lake Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3615 Ladies Auxiliary. She was on the Logan County Board of Elections for 18 years. She loved baking and crocheting for her grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy (Jerry) Shank, of Lakeview; two sons, Richard E. (Vicki) Powell, of Lakeview, and Steven (Patsy) Powell, of Bellefontaine; three stepdaughters, Jean (Ron) Pestel, of Oahu, Hawaii, and Mary Kies and Cathy Mobley; two stepsons: Carl Siebeneck and Tony Siebeneck; a brother, Max (Phyllis) McGowan, of DeGraff; two sisters, Eileen (Dennis) Lotz, of Jackson Center, and Beverly (Tom) Weiskittle, of Quincy; and five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, two stepgreat-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a grandson.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday in the Myron Van Horn Chapel of Sanford-Eichholtz Funeral Home, Lakeview. Pastor Ed Shady will officiate. Burial will be in Huntsville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Kidney Foundation or Putnam County Hospice.
