Sharon K. Goubeaux, 62, died at 9:50 p.m. Nov. 21, 2009, at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
She was born March 10, 1947, in Floyd County, Ky., to Will and Flossie Mullett Rowe, who preceded her in death. She had been married to Earl W. Goubeaux, who survives in St. Marys.
Mrs. Goubeaux was a caregiver for Home Health Care. She attended Auglaize United Baptist Church of Maysville.
Survivors also include two sons, Bill Goubeaux, of Streeter, Ill., and Larry (Penny) Goubeaux, of Findlay; a daughter, Carolyn (Paul Bailey) Mullet, of McGuffey; four brothers, Eugene (Loretta) Tacket, of Foracker, Don (Linda) Rowe, of Ball, La., Orville (Nina) Rowe, of Galion, and Larry (Penny) Rowe, of Alger; four sisters, Sylvia Bailey, of Wapakoneta, Gerri (Jerry) Cowan, of Alger, and Judy (Roy) Abner and Sue Schultz, both of Wapakoneta; six grandchildren, Abby Kinstle, Cody Goubeaux, Larry Goubeaux Jr., Aaron Goubeaux, Richard Moore and Michael Collins; and four stepgrandchildren, Thomas Dunson, Ralph Bailey, Jonathon Bailey and Ben Bailey.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Elzie Rowe, Estel Rowe, Archie Rowe and William David Rowe; and three sisters, Joyce Bryant, Anthy Prater and Mary Irene Rowe.
Graveside services will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Preston Cemetery, Alger. The Rev. Russell Manns will officiate.
Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
