Douglas B. Salisbury, 44, died at 1:25 p.m. Dec. 15, 2009, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 3, 1965, in Lima to Wallace B. and Sally A. Wine Salisbury. His father preceded him in death. His mother survives. He had been married to Rhonda S. Geiger, who survives in Elida.
Mr. Salisbury worked at Rudolph Foods. He was an avid bowler at Westgate Lanes and enjoyed throwing darts. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370, where he was a member of the Euchre Club, and American Legion Post 96 Euchre Club.
Survivors also include two sons, Christopher B. Salisbury and Jonathan W. Salisbury, both of Elida; his twin brother, Dennis W. (Sue) Salisbury, of Elida; six nieces and nephews, Nicolette, Kimberly and Connor Salisbury, Jason (Amy) Grace, Matthew (Jennifer) Grace and Kerri (Aaron) Archie; five great-nieces and -nephews, Lily Grace, Chloe and Micah Grace and Trevor and Renee Archie; and his dog, Domino.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Samantha Ann Salisbury; and an aunt, Vicki Grace, who was raised as a sister.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home. Pastor Jim Jamison will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
