Letter: This generation doesn't know how to sacrifice
My father and my wife’s father both went and fought in World War II at a young age. They went to war so their moms and dads would not be put in harm’s way. They went to World War II at a young age so their future kids would not have to be put in harm’s way.
Our fathers were a far cry from the me generation of today. Those in the me generation want government health care given to them now, not caring that the me generation’s kids will be the ones paying the price for their government health care. Those in the me generation wants their health care now, not caring that nothing comes for free and some of their benefits will mean cuts to their mothers’ and fathers’ health care benefits.
